Band of Gypsies: Kimono

21 September

My new maxi crave by Band of Gypsies - available now at NordstromASOS and Topshop!

Found myself in this gorgeous maxi while strolling the Arts Districts this month. Just kidding. We planned the shoot, of course. Near the intersection of S Sante Fe and E 3rd St, there is a museum called the Hauser Wirth & Schimmel. I've never been inside even though I've shot there twice. There is a mini desert at the front, which is filled with succulent thorny plants and interesting rocks.

To tell you the truth, this is probably the closest thing I'll do for a desert shoot. I'm not a huge outdoorsy person and my skin is sensitive to climate change unfortunately. When the time is right, I will visit those exotic places to capture more photos But as for now, I'm really enjoying how this set came out.

I've collaborated with Band of Gypsies before when I lived in Seattle. I'm very impressed with how much they've grown and how they're working with influencers as a main source of exposure. Band of Gypsies is releasing their newest fall line showcasing different cuts, lengths and floral patterns. I have to give it up for this chiffon maxi dress I'm wearing. Not only its wine color suits well with the florals, the dress's two front slits and kimono sleeves are definitely a plus. Band of Gypsies absolutely nailed this one. I highly recommend checking them out via NordstromASOS and TopshopThey make the boho-chic style trendy all year around and honestly, we all could use a little festive fun in our everyday.
