Flyknit

27 December

How was everyone's holiday? I ended up going out with my grandpa and auntie to a restaurant nearby in Fuzhou. Since Christmas was not a national holiday, not very many people celebrate it in China. My family and I are not exactly religious but after dinner we still went out to catch the crowd near a Catholic Church.

Sorry for so many photos!! To change things up a bit-- the latest collaboration I did with Michelle was a sports/athletic focused photoset. I wanted to give a slight shift from my usual girly/feminine look to something else that I feel passionate about. We shot this post during my last weekend in Seattle (sad I know..!) at Jefferson Park. In about 40 degree weather, we still managed to pull off a couple quick shots that I didn't look like I was freezing in :-P

Always a fan of Nike, I built my look around the new Roshes I got while driving down the coast (through Oregon to SF) with my sister during Thanksgiving weekend. I love the Flyknit Roshes especially out of all the other color combinations. I almost grabbed the black ones with white bottoms instead but I realized that the white bottoms look a bit more casual and I wanted these sneakers to go with my not-so-casual everyday wear. (Does that make sense? :-D) Since I used to run track back in high school (although not very fast at all in fact, I was the slowest person on the team!), I decided to put together a sporty look that I would wear if I wanted to look fashionable yet functional at the same time. Nordstrom had its annual sale a couple weeks back and I managed to grab this cowl neck pullover. Thanks to my super talented designer friend, Alan for the J Selvedge Tote :-) by his brand AKINGS NY!

**Be sure to check out Daniel Wellington and use my promo 'cecestyle' for 15% off until January 15th! I am obsessed with this watch and wear it everywhere I go ;-)**

Going forward I want to do more athletic-inspired posts and I am very excited that my very first set turned out really well! Thanks to my dear Michelle for the amazing photography and I can't wait to showcase my next sporty look.

Stay tuned for my next athletic photoset and more shoots done in both San Diego and Seattle! Be sure to keep up with me on my daily updates on Instagram! Wish you all have a great rest of your week and hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I did! xoxo

If you like my circle sunnies in an earlier post, head on over to DITTO for their monthly glasses subscriptions! Only $24/month for a pair of designer glasses delivered right to your door. These pretty Derek Lam sunnies are my first pair and they are gorgeous as they came fresh with the glasses case and cleaning cloth. Highly recommend for transforming one look to another. *Use my promo code: "CECELAM" for your first month free.* :-)
