21 June

MIA Cece is no longer! This month has been incredibly insane with packing and moving to a new place in Seattle. I fly Monday to Thursday from Seattle and San Diego for work and this week I opted to fly home early on Wednesday to get the packing started. Phew thankfully I didn't have too much so the packing only took a night's worth of time and the move (with the helps of movers!) was done in less than three hours. I am now situated in a pretty condo in the heart of Belltown and right next to the Olympic Sculpture Park! :-)

To dedicate my home in Seattle, I got together with Isaiah to shoot on this lovely rooftop for the city / Space Needle view! I was so excited to work with Isaiah especially since the last time we saw each other was in March -- it was a way overdue shoot! I am lucky to call Isaiah my main photographer in Seattle because we vibe so well together and he always gets all of the angles down to perfection. We met up at this rooftop in Lower Queen Anne (so close to my old apartment!), and we literally climbed over fences to get from the seating areas to the actual roof spot. Being as adventurous as we were, I still felt the most relaxed and myself when I'm in front of his camera. I can't wait to bring our adventures to the rest of Seattle and as well to other cities! ;-)

Please check out Isaiah's work and support us Seattle artists ;-)

As I was walking through the Fashion Valley mall in San Diego, I found some of the same commercialized stores back home -- Nordstrom, Sephora, Macy's, etc. Until I stumbled upon Urban Outfitters' storefront, I just couldn't stop looking at this sheer backless dress. "This dress would make the perfect rooftop city shoot," I said to myself. I immediately brought the dress back and started thinking about different hair ideas and makeup looks. The way it dips in the back is incredibly sexy and flattering. The overall silhouette of the dress is simple yet shows off the prettiest parts of a girl's body -- shoulders and back.

Since I just recently visited my hairdresser for a touch-up and recolor, I wanted to amplify the brown, blonde, black shades in my hair to be more dramatic by soft curling every lock. This idea of princess-wavy hair would fit with the dress and view to the T. Paired with my favorite Vince Camuto heels, I felt invincible on this rooftop! Thanks to Isaiah, I will always have these golden photos of my home city to remind me of how far I came along and how much I've done since I moved a year ago.

Stay tuned for an upcoming post on a night city shoot and keep up with me on my Instagram! Wish you all have a great rest of your weekend and hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I did! xoxo
