Mesmerize Me

01 July

Happy July! Shot with the very lovely Sharon in the Arts District this past Sunday and I am in love with her photography style. ;-) Not only her colors are crisp and vibrant, they are also very dreamy.

We walked around different alley ways and behind apartment buildings looking for the perfect spots to shoot. First we started shooting at the purple wall but eventually we found gorgeous flowers hanging over our heads.

Of course being back in my element, I love including a little bit of mother nature when I shoot! The focus of this dress was most definitely the lace detail and the halter top-skater silhouette. I found this dress delicately placed at the storefront of Urban Outfitters! With such a pretty plum and wine color, I knew I could make this dress fit into my blog. The dress itself was very comfortable and had a decent layer underneath the lace. Sometimes lace material scratches your skin but the designer of this dress made sure that didn't happen! The only comment was the fit of this dress-- Even though the fit of this dress was accurate (I wore an X-Small), the opening from the back caused the material on the sides to lop side over, creating a weird lump. I would definitely take that into consideration if you are looking to purchase this dress! However, I am very impressed with the high neck detail and it especially reminds me of all of the short crop tops I own. ;-)

To wrap this up, I am very happy with how the shoot turned out and feeling at my most feminine in this lovely color!

Stay tuned for an upcoming post on more mural shoots in LA and keep up with me on my Instagram! Wish you all have a great rest of your weekend and hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I did! xoxo
