Midnight Daydream

22 April

Happy almost Summer! I am so excited to share with you a new set of Spring gowns and maxis that I've been preparing the past couple weeks. Some new life updates: I recently got on a new work assignment to travel to San Diego on a weekly basis (woo!). I've also been quite busy with searching for a new home either in Seattle or move to a new city on the West Coast. In the mean time, I will definitely try my best to produce as many new posts as possible! ;-)

While coming home on the weekends in Seattle, I met up with my girl Michelle at Parsons Gardens for this dreamy Spring gown look. Since prom season is coming up, I can't help but look into formal dresses! I can't believe my prom was just six years ago-- it feels like sixteen years ago! My life has changed so much after grade school, college, and certainly a year and a half into my professional career. Speaking of school, I still remember my prom very vividly. We didn't rent a limo like the rest of the kids but we took out a nice convertible and drove it super speedy to the venue! My house in Virginia is actually just a few miles from the prom location, a country club actually. Crazy how time flies-- I really miss the days when we were young. :-) Now back to the dress.... I remember I wore a teal strapless dress with a more round opening, much like this dress I'm wearing in my post! I am utterly obsessed with the floral print and lush colors on this dress. As my photographer quotes, "this dress looks like a water painting!"

The Eliza J dress collection is beyond amazing-- her dresses are not only colorful and well-made, they are inexpensive for the beautiful design and fit! I highly recommend checking out her dresses at Nordstrom for any formal occassions. You will find that my dress has different colors and floral patterns. I promise you won't be disappointed! :-)

As mentioned in my previous posts, I am very much into collecting headbands. I found this peony headband at J. Crew's Girls section when I went shopping with my sister. I know this is meant for a little girl's head but accessories can be versatile to compliment any outfit ;-) Wouldn't you agree?

Stay tuned for an upcoming post on more dresses and Spring wear. Have a great weekend and hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I did! xoxo
