There's No Goodbye

Happy Friday the 13th! ;-)

Spring is just around the corner and we are at ~60F degrees this week in Seattle. But unless I get to wear dresses everyday, I won't believe it's Spring yet! 

I am so happy that I got to meet and work with Isaiah on helping me shoot this look! We had so much fun shooting around the MOHAI and west lake just right by my apartment complex. Even though we had such bright I mean, bright and harsh sunlight that day, Isaiah and I had the same vision of which area to shoot to produce the best outcome of the photos. :-) This photoshoot is one of the best shoots I've done and one where I felt the most comfortable being myself. That said, thank you so much Isaiah, for making my day and this photoshoot so enjoyable for me! Since the start of my blogging journey, I learned to put fear (and shame perhaps) aside when I pose in public spots and yet I sometimes still get nervous with new photographers! I cannot wait to collaborate with Isaiah again and bring on more tasteful photos to the blog!

Now let's get started with the outfit ;-) I have showcased tons of Anthropologie and Free People apparel lately but this gorgeous casual lace dress is definitely one of my favorite pieces! As much as I love shirt dresses, the style that best accentuates the figure is a belted dress at the waist level. I love a long flowy maxi dress, but I am not a huge fan of the empire waist design :-( Simply because I have a petite figure that is unforgiving with clothing that hides the waist line and makes me appear shorter!

On a final note, after taking several design classes on my own, I can't help but notice the intricate details of every clothing I try on. Anthropologie always does such an amazing job with the fit and the design of their pieces. The style is known to be simple yet modest for the women of 21st century. (Happy belated International Women's Day by the way!)
