Break Free

03 August

Happy Monday! All new photos taken in LA by my lovely sister, Emily. I haven't seen her in months and it was an amazing coincidence that she had a business engagement in SoCal. Although we were only able to meet for a day, I still had time to show her around the Arts Districts in LA and caught up with her on what I have been up to.

The first place I took her to was the famous Pie Hole! She really enjoyed the sweet Earl Grey pie that they served and we had a blast taking photos and just enjoying the sun. I brought a couple looks with me that day (both casual summer wear) so we picked out two different back drops. The first one we stumbled upon was the long mustache man! Given that its colors were grey and cool, we went ahead and snapped some photos in my all white outfit. Eventually as we moved on to different streets, we found a more intense backdrop that would make my outfit pop: red with metal bars!

My sister is very talented at capturing the best angle and lighting! I wish we lived closer so we could always snap photos together. :-) She has a very good sense of aesthetics especially on how the subject is placed in the frame. We only did a few takes and immediately we had really good results.

As a huge fan of Topshop, I couldn't resist their white and chic collection. I found myself this super trendy skirt that is both comfortable and fitting to my waist. I paired it with another white item: their crochet crop top. Topshop has one of the best crop tops in store and this was hands down, the best crop top I have! Such the perfect pairing for the summer-- You can dress this whole outfit down with cut out booties or with heels in any color as well!

Stay tuned for an upcoming post on more shoots for the summer and keep up with me on my Instagram! Wish you all have a great rest of your week and hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I did! xoxo
