Set me free

11 February

Welcome friends! I'm so excited to share with you a brand new concept on this blog. I am showcasing a collection of looks for the upcoming Valentine's Day and will be posting all three looks by the end of this week.

When I found this amazing maxi dress with such gorgeous back detail, I immediately jumped on it and I knew I wanted to do something different with this dress. It had to be something other than posting it as another #ootd story. The idea to connect fashion to art has been in my head for the longest time and I am so happy that I got to work with Michelle (Photographer) and Mackenzie (Hair Stylist) on this photoshoot!

My ultimate vision for the shoot was to feel like a girl in nature, running into the land of green pure minded, completely surrendering and setting free from all superficial distractions.

Style is an art form and this shoot was done perfectly the way I wanted.  I find most of my inspiration through music and lately I've been listening to Henry Saiz's "Fill Me Up" at least a couple times a day. To me, music, fashion, and art always belong in the same circle. If I could produce music, model fashion, and create stylish designs, I would do it all. When all three pieces come together, that's when I find my inner self and who I truly am. Away from reality. Away from harsh light. Away in the clouds. ;-)

I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Michelle and Mackenzie. Thank you both for helping me express my vision to the fullest! Stay tuned for my next Valentine's Day look. Please visit here to see rest of the photoshoot! ;-)
